Abanazar is the most powerful wizard in the world & he's searching for a Magic Lamp so he can rule supreme. Meanwhile the Empress is trying to find a suitor for Princess Jasmine & Widow Twankey asks Wishy Washy for help getting a laundry load off her mind.
When Aladdin gets stuck in the Magical Cave he meets the Genie of the Lamp, & Abanazar, angry that nothing is going to plan, kidnaps Princess Jasmine & takes her to his lair. Aladdin, Widow Twankey & the others must band together to rescue the Princess before it's too late!

Aladdin Pantomime Script Excerpt
EMPRESS: Thank you everyone for gathering today as we celebrate the engagement of my beautiful daughter, Princess Jasmine. A number of suitors have travelled from far & wide to be here &, hopefully, one of them will make my daughter very happy indeed.
PRINCESS JASMINE pulls the EMPRESS to one side.
JASMINE: I don’t want to marry some prince from a far-off land.
EMPRESS: But you have to. You must marry a prince from somewhere & you’ve already rejected all the local princes.
JASMINE: But what if I don’t want to marry a prince?
EMPRESS: It’s tradition. I married a prince & it was the best night of my life. We partied like it was 1999! (She turns to the GUARDS) Which princes are coming today?
GUARD 1: The first prince is Prince Tardy.
There is a fanfare. Everyone looks around for PRINCE TARDY. No one enters.
EMPRESS: Where is he?
GUARD 1: He hasn’t arrived yet!
EMPRESS: Very well. Who’s next?
GUARD 2: May I present Prince Invisible.
A fanfare plays. Again everyone looks around for PRINCE INVISIBLE.
EMPRESS: Is he late as well?
GUARD 2: (Indicating an empty space on the stage) No Empress, he’s standing right here.
EMPRESS: I see. (Beat) Or rather I don’t see. Are there any other princes coming today?
GUARD 1: Unfortunately Prince Not-Attending can’t make it & Prince Google-Maps seems to have got lost.
JASMINE: I don’t know why we have to do this every few weeks. I don’t want to marry any of them & even if I did none of them are here.
EMPRESS: Prince Invisible is here. (Indicating where he is ‘standing’) He seems like a lovely chap.
JASMINE: Sorry mum, I just don’t see it. (Beat) I don’t want to get married to a prince I’ve only just met. I want to fall in love with someone who loves me back!
